POSITION DESCRIPTION – FUN SERVER – MELBOURNE

MANAGER | Event & Logistics Manager

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Our events wouldn’t be successful without this crucial role. You love the thrill of pulling off a memorable event where the client raves about our product, service and people and you work best when the heat is on!  Because of your unique skills and experience, our activations look and feel amazing with the Woofys WOW factor – you’re a key part of our team and the reason why our clients keep coming back. You ensure the success of client events thanks to your level head, cool, calm and collected nature and ability to ensure even the smallest detail doesn’t go unnoticed. Working with the wider Woofys team you ensure the timely and smooth delivery of all our events. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serving fun: delivering Woofys delicious food and drinks with a friendly, positive attitude and smile
  • Client engagement and on-site liaison: you are our brand rep on client sites and assist with maintaining excellent client relationships, proactively handling any arising issues (and notifying your manager), and troubleshooting on the go, pulling off one seamless event after another
  • Setting up and packing down: assisting with the bump in and bump out and ensuring the event is packed down ready for bump out
  • Follow Food Safety Program and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) rules and regulations

 

ABOUT YOU

  • You love everything about events (even the stressful and unplanned parts) and have fun working them
  • Enjoy customer interactions and go the extra mile with your customer focussed approach
  • Have food handling and / or barista experience – or both
  • Have obtained your Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
  • You care – you value attention to detail in all that you do
  • You’re proactive and show initiative – you know that things never go to plan (despite how well you plan!) but you’re able to think on your feet and solve problems with minimal fuss, pre-empting issues and putting the client at ease throughout the engagement
